November 3, 2007...I received this lovely email from a couple from New York. It was a very
small wedding in a restaurant in Deerfield Bch, Fl.
Their words are so gracious and kind, as were they.
Our quote, which you may use in any way you want, is as follows:
Donna Merritt calls her company "Simple Weddings." But while the venue and ceremony may be
simple, her presentation is anything but simple. Donna is an artist, a poet, and a consumate
professional who is able to transform a simple ceremony into a sublime experience. Donna married
us on October 6, 2007, and we could not have hoped for a more charming--or more touching and
eloquent--presentation, which far exceeded our highest expectations. And as an added bonus,
Donna's personal photographer, Sarah Palmer (at a nominal fee), did an A+ job filming the entire
event. We shall always hold in our hearts a warm place for Donna and Sarah, who we had the
good futune of discovering through this very website.

We both wanted to write and say thank you very much for such an amazing wedding. And a thank
you to Sarah too for the lovely photos. They are fantastic. We have just arrived home and missing
Florida already. You have both given us many happy memories of our wedding day. It was lovely

awesome! Everybody had nothing but compliments to say about you. The one thing I do regret is
not getting a picture with you. I guess I was so wrapped up in the moment that the opportunity
slipped by. That bums me out. Anyway, thank you for going out of your way to come up here, I
cannot tell you how much it meant to have such a wonderful sincere soul facilitate our union. Thank

Gary and I wanted to get in touch with you because over this past weekend, you were on our
minds quite often. It has been an entire year since you presided over our wedding vows and made
us officially man and wife. How time flies when you are in love with your soul mate! WE actually
got married again in CT in front of family and friends in June, so now we have 2 anniversary dates
to celebrate, although Florida will always be special to us......Terri and Gary
